Kathleen Dawson

Kathleen Dawson brings over three decades of professional knowledge and experience in property and casualty insurance to her position. Prior to joining Balsiger Insurance, she has served as director of property and casualty divisions, commercial lines manager, quality assurance liaison, marketing manager, and customer service representative for independent agencies as well as national brokerage firms. She has supervised the management, handled, and serviced a wide variety of commercial accounts of all sizes for entities representing most commercial industries, all with various and sometimes unique coverage needs.

Dawson has earned and maintains the Certified Insurance Counselor designation from the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research and is a current member. Licensed in Nevada since 1986, and in addition to her CIC designation, she earned her Certificate of General Insurance.

Dawson grew up in Las Vegas but lived for a short time in both California and Arizona before returning to Southern Nevada. She has volunteered for a variety of non-profit organizations throughout the years. She is currently serving as a board member for the local chapter of the Scleroderma Foundation and volunteers for the Torino Foundation.
