Who is Progressive?

Progressive is an auto insurance company that insures over 18 million drivers. They are the third-largest auto insurance company in the country. The Progressive headquarters are in Mayfield Village, Ohio. It was founded in 1937 by Joseph M. Lewis and Jack Green.

Liability Coverage

Basic auto insurance coverage in Las Vegas will come with liability coverage. You are required by law to at least have liability coverage. There is bodily injury liability and property liability. Bodily injury liability will cover injuries that another person gets in a car accident. Property liability will cover damage that is done to another person’s property.

Comprehensive Coverage

Comprehensive coverage protects your vehicle if it is damaged by theft, hitting an animal, vandalism, fire or a natural disaster. You will have to pay a deductible, and Progressive will cover the remaining damages. For example, there is $4,000 worth of damage done to your car. Your deductible is $1,000. You will pay $1,000, and Progressive will pay $3,000.

Collision Coverage

Collision coverage will pay for damage that is done to your car if you hit an object. For example, you are driving down the road on a rainy day. You run off the road and hit a tree. This damage will be covered.
